After meeting in the Chamonix Valley (unless more convenient to meet in Switzerland) we will head to the Rhone Valley and then drive to the little known resort of Unterbach in Valais. This quiet resort is a gem. Although there aren't many lifts, there are enough to give access to a wide area. Lifts go up to 2400m, and allow tourers to do relatively short ascents to the local peaks around 2900-3000m. And if the weather is bad there's plenty of top-class tree skiing to be had too.....
The guiding cost for the trip is 650 euros. This covers guiding, trip planning, emergency gear, and the guide's accommodation costs and lift fees in Unterbach. In addition you will have to cover your accommodation and lift passes.
